This is the 3rd winter I have bought Oaki boots for my granddaughter. She LOVES THEM!! And they don't ware out, she just grows out of them!We have been through a lot of boots with 6 kids. These are by far the best boots! I bought my first pair when my little one was 18mo, and he was able to put them on and take them off by himself. They keep his feet dry and warm in all conditions: midwest snow, mud, rain, creek stomping, gardening, farming. He used his first pair daily for over a year until he outgrew them and they still look brand new! We will pass them on, and they will last through many more seasons with other lucky kids!Great ..for kids who love to play out side and playwe really wanted to love these boots as much as our son did. the patterns are great, they are comfortable and warm even on the coldest N. Michigan days. However the seams started leaking after 2 months of wear. Thought it might just be that one pair, but he has these boots in 2 different patterns and the second pair started leaking too. Leaks were where the rubber meets rubber or rubber the neoprene on both pairs and on one pair the sole was separating. It is like the adhesive just gave out.Wet wet feet and soaked socks. I contacted the company who sent out one replacement pair quickly and that hasn't leaked.. yet.It is a shame, the are really nice boots when the seams are waterproof but not much use to have this type of boot that doesn't keep his feet dry. I wanted to love them, but we will go with a different brand next winter. These boots were about 4 sizes bigger than expected and the neoprene was super thin. Returned them.My kid did love these and wore them frequently, but within 4 months they fell apart near the toe, the sole came away from the boot letting the water in. Disappointing. Luckily we got ours on clearance, but no way I would pay full price for another pair of these! My son can get these boots on with ease, and loves splashing around in them. I think they'll do well in winter too since they are fully lined with a thicker insert *not removable, as far as I can tell?* We have a boot-dryer which we use if he gets water splashed into the inside, to make sure they're nice and dry for next time. Pulling them off is sometimes a bit challenging but I think that has more to do with how big my kiddo's feet are! :)Super happy with these vs. the more expensive bogs. With a child growing inches by the minute it’s nice to find good boots at an affordable price because I’m needing to buy every 6 months.
