My son is very hard on his boots and these are holding up great. They are true to size. They seem to be waterproof as long as snow and water don’t get down into the boot from the opening. I do wish the top of the boot would sinch more but I just pull the pant leg over or tuck it in depending on the weather. They are a bit heavy so it did take some getting use to for my son. These are not wide foot approved.I really like these boots for my granddaughter, she put them on and take them off by herself.My granddaughter loves this boot, unfortunately I had to exchange for a size one. She typically wears a 13 with plenty or time room. Toes had no wiggle room.These boots are okay for light snow activity. They fit as expected, but the top is too wide and the little cord at the top is basically worthless. As soon as you tighten them they loosen right up again. I had to actually tie the cord in a knot because the little plastic piece doesn’t actually grip the cord so it’s pointless. Once I tied it as tight as I could, it was better. But they still get snow down in them. If you intend on being out in the snow for a while, I’d get something better.The boots fit nicely and are pretty warm. My daughter loves the design and she doesn't complain about her feet being cold after playing in the snow.My 4 year old son picked it these boots and loves them.They seem a little clunky but see says they're comfortable.His feet slip out of them every once in awhile. The functional velcro strap is helpful to tighten and customize the fit a little around his ankle.The most that we've been out in them so far has been about an hour or so in about 20-30 degree weather. His toes have been warm each time we've come back inside!I bought this for my granddaughter to play in the snow. She loved them.
