Exactly what I was hoping they'd be. The fit is perfect(though I need insoles, I have bad arches on my feet).They look great, and despite being a bit stiff at first, are very comfortable. I'm confident that I could wear these to hike or to comic con(I got these for a Poe Dameron X-wing pilot cosplay)I started to get a little uncomfortable in them in the theater midway through a film , but that was after a long anniversary dinner and a walk through Target. But I generally feel that way about any shoes when kicking back and relaxing.These boots work well for what they are. Duty style boots that have a good quality of comfort, and good value for money spent. PT type exercise, hunting, hiking...have done all of the above with these and enjoyed them immensely the whole time.First time I've had 8 inch boots, wanted something to give my ankles a bit more support. I ordered my regular shoe size and that seems to fit me fine. These are nice lightweight boots and I found them easy to walk in and wear for the whole day. At first there were some spots that didn't seem right, but after a day of wearing them they seemed to break in and become very comfortable. I've even worn them with some fairly thin socks and they are still very comfortable for me. They seem to breathe fairly well so my feet didn't get sweaty.The side zip was a new thing for me too, they really make it easy to get the boots off at the end of the day. But I found that if I was wearing thick socks it was still a bit of a struggle to get them on using just the side zip. These boots don't have a loop on the back to grab onto, which makes it harder to get such a tall boot on when the laces are tied and you're wearing thick socks. Maybe a long shoehorn would help. When I wore thinner, smoother socks the boots were easy to slip on and off.Overall I'd say they are comfortable, light and break in very quickly, I'll probably be wearing them a lot for street hiking and work.Good quality, we'll see over time how this hold up during my hikes. I like the side zipper but it's a little difficult to secure if the boot is tightly laced. They had a chemical smell when I first unpackaged, but that is gone after a few hours. Overall a decent boot for the price if they hold up over time. More later.These are well-made, sturdy, and more comfortable than expected. They're really heavy duty and just ready to go. When I put them on, I feel like I'm just ready for action and ready to go get them dirty. They hold up pretty well after having worked in them a bit, and they clean up well too. They look good, they're comfortable to wear. I'd recommend these to anyone, for any reason.I’m very happy with these boots. I wasn’t expecting much considering the price but I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m switching over from keins, and didn’t expect much. Initial impression of these was that they hurt my feet but they broke in very quickly, within a matter of hours. After that, I had no issues with comfort. Traction isn’t the greatest sadly, and the steel toe is a cheap material. From videos I’ve watched testing steel toes, I believe the crush rating is only around 600-800 pounds on these as opposed to the 3,000 or so you’ll get on name brand boots. For my job I don’t need steel toe so it doesn’t effect me, just something to keep in mind. Overall they’re comfortable, and good for the price. I have 2 pair, in different ankle heights and I like them bothI normally wear Bates GX8 in tan, but wanted a pair of black boots, and these are half the price of Bates.They are very light and seem to be well made. Comfortable from day one with no break-in needed.They fit true to size, side zip is smooth, good support and cushioned insole.Very pleased with this purchase.While I was opening the shipping box, I knew what was supposed to be inside of it, but it was so light that I thought somehow I had received an empty box.I finished opening the box, and inside was just another pair of work boots...or so I thought anyway. These look like normal work boots, they feel and fit like normal work boots, but they have so little weight that it's hard to believe they're actually boots. I think my slippers weigh as much as these do.It'll be a while before I start wearing these daily, but I've decided to wear them on my upcoming backpacking trip.Comodisimas y muy ligeras, parecen resistentes en un principio ya veremos como envejecen pero demomento muy contento.Las botas se las ve bien, lo que se esperaba de ellas, pero lo que realmente me sorprendió en unas botas cuyo importe son casi 90 euros, es que vengan sin la caja.Si el hecho de venir sin la caja es que se ha invertirlo en mejor material y mayor calidad del producto, lo agradeceré en un futuro, pero por el momento me llevo ese detalle nada más llegar.Mejorar un poco la presentación, no tiene precio. Muchas gracias.Genial producto, parecen deportivas de lo comodas que son aun no ha llegado el tiempo frio de verdad pero me encantan y cuando se me rompan me comprare otras, las utilizo a diario para ir en moto al curro y muy comodas , las recomiendo por calidad y precio
