A few comments,I noticed no significant smell, just slight normal leather smell.These are not even remotely waterproof, they are instead very well ventilated, great Summer boots for hot weather, but put your feet down in a stream and they are going to get wet.They are 100% real leather, no plastic, so that means they break in exceptionally well as only leather can, they stretch to fit your feet perfectly, very comfortable bootsThey are soft and comfortable, but there is no shin armor, which would make them stiff of course.They sole is relatively thin and flexible, they are not stiff like mountain climbing boots, good for comfort and limited walking, these are not moto-X boots, they are great comfortable riding boots. Thin tread on the sole gives traction without excessive clogging with mud.Biggest negative for me is the buckles, ratcheting buckles would be so much better, I’d pay more for them, it’s what’s keeping these from being perfect boots in my opinion.However, considering the price, they are an exceptional value, very well constructed and comfortable with high quality leather and seems as if they will last a long time.I purchased these on Prime Day for ~$120, they are a steal at that price. Overall I'm very happy with these boots. I usually wear a size 12, but Amazon was sold out at the time so I went with an 11 1/2, they fit great. The leather is soft enough that they are quite easy to walk in. I went with a tall boot to help protect my legs from engine heat on my motorcycle, and they do the job.These are very soft and comfortable right out of the box, at least to me.The leather seems fairly durable and supple.Has some padding in front of the ankle and shin, but little on the sides.The buckles seem to be more functional than the Velcro but would probably work better if their position was reversed.Ultimately, I only have minor qualms. These boots are light, comfortable, and seem well made so far. Would recommend more for comfort, but it still provides some protection.Ride safe, reader!For the money, you cannot find a better deal. Leather design with high quality build materials. Boot runs slightly larger than true size. I wear size 11-1/2, but I purchased size 12 boot. Boot is slightly too large, but I added Dr. Scholl's Inserts, which fit perfectly with no trimming and feels so comfortable. Wide toe allows for plenty of room for my toes. I wear thick wool socks as well, which helped to make boot fit better. Boot looks amazing. The boot does not offer the protection of a full-on professional motocross boot, but the "Comfort Level Vs Protection" is a good compromise. Cannot beat the value of this boot. I would definitely buy again.I like the boots - nice quality from the looks of it, comfortable. Ordered a pair and initially sent them back for a pair 0.5 size larger - the larger pair fits right. But, the large pair came with a very pungent leather smell. Not abnormal, many leather products have that possible issue. However, after trying some standard solutions (2 days in box with lots of newspaper, brush with white vinegar, leave outside), the smell has not abated - they've basically been outside in the yard for over 3 weeks straight. I still can't take them into the garage without having everything smell a few hours later. Some QC would help - if a pair is so pungent it can be smelled 10 ft away (as was the case for these out of the box) they probably shouldn't be sold. So be prepared to send them back rather than try to deal with it (note the first pair had no smell so it's somewhat luck of the draw)Let me first say, these boots are beautiful. I really wanted them to fit. This is the second pair of this brand where they are adjustable, but are too small to fit my calf. The foot portion fit as expected, and were very comfortable, but I could not get the top of the boot to close. I wish they made a wide-calf option for boots like these.Boots fit well - lightweight with good high traction soles- great deal at the price pointLeft boot came unglued around the toe with 255 miles of riding. No ankle protection either. When standing up, the sole flexes as if you're riding with tennis shoes. Compraremos otras para mi pareja.muy buena calidad, es 100% piel. Sin embargo para el tipo de moto que manejo, la suela es muy gruesa, esta bota es como una bota industrial. Es una moto especifica para motos chopper. Tuve que hacer una devolucion. Pero la calidad y el diseño es muy bueno.Muy cómodas, me gustaron mucho, excepto los broches de plástico, ojalá le pudieran poner Velcro u otra cosa por qué los broches no se ven tan bienSE ven buenas las botas, paro no son de fácil abrocharse para personas obesas o viejas.
