These are the perfect boots for beginner walkers. They are thin, lightweight, short, easy to get on and off, and super cute! We get compliments on them all of the time. Most rain boots are too tall and clunky for littles who are still perfecting walking. I would say I wouldn't recommend for 2 & over just because of how short they are. Again, that is a pro for my 15 month old who has trouble walking in other tall & clunky rain boots, but because of their height, water can get in through the top much easier than it would in a taller boot. They are waterproof. The only water that gets in is water through the top. We love splashing in puddles, so this happens pretty often. If we're just walking where its wet or walking in water the inside of the boots stay dry. Once she is better at balancing we will probably get a different pair that goes up closer to the knees, but these are the perfect first rain boots!My daughter seems to be very comfy in these boots. The color is so cute with everything and they are short which is great for chubby baby legs. She can even get them on/off herself so that’s great. I wish they didn’t say “tree grandpa” on the side but it’s not obvious on the yellow ones.They are cure and perfectvfor my 2 years old.I bought the size 5 toddler and they're half the size of my (large) adult feet. Maybe I received the wrong size, but these are not baby shoes!
