These boots are warm and comfortable and safer to walk on icy and snowy surfacesI BROUGHT THESE BOOTS AS A GIFT FOR MYSELF.I OVE THE WAY MY FEET FELT AFTER TRYING THEM ON.I really like these boots! The sizing is accurate, maybe a smidge big, but I find that with most footwear that has faux fur lining; once it's matted down, there is more room. I have wide feet so I'm fine with this. The soles have good grip and are thick, not plasticky and slippery like some pseudo-Ugg boots. Also, the most important part: they are easy to put on and take off. The reason I knocked a star off, is because these are NOT waterproof or good in the snow, and they are advertised as "snow boots." I walked in some slush during a snow storm and definitely had some wetness come through. I don't mind this, as I didn't buy these to use as snow boots and honestly figured they'd be bad in the snow, but in the event they were good, it would have been a happy surprise. So, if you ARE buying because they are labeled as snow boots, don't and keep looking. There are plenty of inexpensive real snow boots here on Amazon. If you're looking for cute and comfortable boots for the Fall/Winter, these are it! Now, what color should I buy next...?I like these boots, I don't love them. They are kind of clunky and run a tad small, but are plenty wide enough. On the plus side, they are very warm. They have no real support, so if you like flat shoes, you will like these boots. Just wish mine were a half size bigger so I could wear thick socks.I have wide calves boots are low enough to accommodate. Put high enough so snow stays out.I wear anything from a size 9 to a size 10, depending on the shoe. Normally, I buy a size 10 in these kinds of boots so I can wear thick socks with them. These are big even with thick socks. Not big enough that I can't walk in them, but if I could go back I would have ordered a 9. Other than that, they are cute, seem to be well made and work for running errands in the winter.Gave only 04 stars because I thought they would be warmer. But they’re still warmer than my old ones!I live in Florida but visited North Carolina in January. I had no appropriate footwear. I found these and they were perfect. The other shoes I brought were left in the suitcase as these were so comfortable, cozy and looked great I wore them the entire time. They are very well made. As good as Uggs and you can’t beat the price.
