I bought these boots to cosplay a character from a podcast (The Magnus Archives, highly recommend it for horror enthusiasts such as myself) and I really like them, and have actually been wearing them out just in general outside of cosplay because they are super comfortable and I like the look of them >:3I would suggest wearing them with long socks, because the top inner seam has a leathery fabric on the inside so it can get very sticky and sweaty if worn against skin and overall is NOT a fun time so, long enough socks are a must !!overall, I really really like them!! I've bought shoes on amazon in the past that the bottom broke off of very very easily so I've always been sort of weary about that but these feel very very sturdy and I'm not afraid that the bottom will rip off simply because I attempt to cartwheel in them.The boot outside looks perfect, literally exactly like the photo (probably because its a photo of the boots but you can never really know with online shopping) and I really love the look. I actually got complimented on them one time when I was wearing them out! They are very glossy and they do scuff on the sides but you can really easily wipe that away, the same way you would wipe a scuff off of something like a gym floor, you just sorta rub it and it goes away (it goes away easier if you wet your fingers before wiping it but it'll come off regardless)The laces are very long so you'll have to pull the laces pretty long and then double tie it but thats not too big of a problem at least for my personally, but if it is a problem for you, I would suggest also investing in a pair of laces that are a bit shorter.(the indoor lighting makes them look much less vibrant than they actually are but they are so so vibrant and so so pretty i love them, you can see the colors much better in the outdoor photo, but even that doesn't give them the justice they deserve)
