I love these boots. LOVE THEM. I wish I could wear them.....I have a standard rider calf, nothing crazy. I bought these because I love all things Dublin, especially the footbed in their boots - they don't feel like show boots at all. I got these and tried them on - and couldn't get the calf to zip. It was really frustrating, I couldn't find it offered in a wide calf. I didn't return them, I sold them to one of the teenagers at my barn who needed a set but has smaller calves. Gorgeous boot, built well, like everything from Dublin. Sigh.Really wish I was informed these were NUBUCK and not normal smooth leather or even suede. They get dusty and dirty extremely fast and easy, and unfortunately can’t be cleaned in any easy manner. You have to purchase a special nubuck leather cleaning kit, which was a pain in itself to find, and then it’s a whole process not to ruin the nubuck because of the texture. Otherwise they’re a great boot. I highly suggest getting the grain leather.I ordered these because they say wide for a wide width boot. They are very well made and are stylish and good quality boot but they are not for wide width feet. They are wide calf. I confirmed with the seller they don’t come in wide width only in wide calf. The description of the product needs to be corrected. I noticed this happens a lot on Amazon with boots. There is a difference in wide calf and wide width! The boot is a really good boot. I would have loved to exchange for a wide width boot. But not possible. If you really want to buy these and you wear a 7.5 w. Try a size 8 they do run small.Very disappointed as this product was defective so had to return it. The zipper had glue coming out and was poorly madeThese boots were horrible. I have been a loyal Dublin wearer for years but the quality keeps going down and the price keeps going up. I like that they can go from the barn to normal life but they don’t last I would recommend loOk at other brandsCalf extremely small. Even with the elastic panel.These boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable, they are wide enough in the foot and calf.Faulty manufacturing. Glue and edges of interior fabric are pulling apart. If I could give these boots zero stars I would. For such an expensive pair of boots, the quality of the stitching and binding for the materials are what you would expect of a $15 pair of boots from Wal-Mart. Definitely would NOT recommend. Really disappointed.Item arrived with the glue peeling away on the zip area, very poor quality and the wide fitting still comes up narrow. Sent them back and despite me having the tracking number and confirmation they have received them over a week ago they don’t seem to know. I would like my money back!!These boots are just perfect, they fit perfectly, look lovely and are so solid and robust for all of my marching about. Lovely style. I am a huuuuuge fan!I had searched for ages to find a really sculpted boot and these are just brilliant.The top of the boots rub my leg a little hence the 3* rating. Otherwise a nice sturdy boot.
