Boyfriend says they are Warm and comfortable should do the job well, Just waiting for the snow to fly for the real test. I bought a size up.. shoe size 12 so I bought a 13I have been wearing these boots about 5 times for walking our dog in mid-west December (no snow yet). They are sturdy, waterproof and warm. They are relatively light but a bit clunky due to the rigid, waterproof sole/foot design. They fit well with being a touch on the larger side. I wear a 9.5 which I ordered and after wearing them I think a 9 would provide a better fit. The boots have a lot of room on top of the foot and the strings cannot be tighten enough for a snug fit. Wearing thicker socks helps a bit. Overall I am happy with the buy given the purpose: Walking our dog in the muddy woods and by the river during the cold season. Not a boot for long hikes in my humble opinion.Update: After having these boots now for nearly two months I can say they are still warm, waterproof and hold up well thus far. It proved true. The sole does not have the best grip on snow. I should have bought a size 9. They are bit soft and do not provide a lot of lateral support and therefore not for longer hikes (2+ hours) e.g. up and down hills. But good enough for what I do. Therefore 4-stars.After many hours of researching winter boots for my ever growing preteen son I stumbled across these. They had good reviews and a very good price. Like I mentioned my son grows every time I turn around so I don’t feel the need to spend $200+ on name brand boots for MAYBE one season. We live in Michigan and can experience pretty harsh winters so warmth is still important as we love to play in the snow. My kid has gone out several times this winter in these boots and says they are warm, comfortable and lightweight and seem to be waterproof so far. Will continue to buy these until his feet stop growing! Only downside he says is they aren’t super easy to slip on as the sides are not very structured.Just received these boots today. I normally wear a 12. After reading the size chart and insole lengths I ordered a 11.5 it’s fits great length wide...with a little room to spare for thick socks. These boots are very wide. Wider than normal and completely flat on the inside. I do have narrow feet and have high arches. I plan on putting a high arch support insert in. I think this will help take up some lateral space also. But all In all I’m happy. These boots do not cost a lot and they seem to be of decent construction. Also my feet are nice and warm. It’s 5 degrees out today and my feet haven’t had even the slightest chill.I don’t like how light weight they are. Also I didn’t size your enough. You get what you pay for I guess.Was skeptical for the price, but I couldn’t be happier. Kept my feet dry and comfy in the snow all day. A bit heavy, but not sure if that is to be expected from snow boots. Great buy and stylish though.I have a size 9 foot,, now days I know enough to order a size larger,,, I ordered this boot in two sizes larger and it is still small,,, it fits but not very comfortable,,, not wide enough... it will have to do,,,These boots are very nice and warm. They keep my feet dry and they also have a good grip on them from keeping me from falling.
